Fixtures for the 2026 U19 World Cup confirmed.
The Men’s Under-19 World Cup 16th edition is scheduled for January 15–February 6, 2026. 16 teams will compete in the competition, which will take place in Namibia and Zimbabwe, according to the ICC’s announcement on Wednesday.
Japan will participate in the competition for the second time after their last appearance in 2020, and Tanzania will be making their debut.
Four groups of four teams each have been formed from the 16 teams. The top three teams from each group advance to the Super Six after each team plays the other three teams in its group during the tournament’s opening round.
The top four teams advance to the semifinals, which will take place in Bulawayo on February 3 and Harare on February 4. The Harare Sports Club in Harare will host the championship game.
In addition to that location, the event will also be held at the Takashinga Sports Club in Harare, the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, the newly opened Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek, and the HP Oval in Windhoek. Before the tournament proper begins a day later, all teams are expected to arrive on January 8 and play warm-up matches from January 9–14.
In 2024, Australia had beaten India in the final to win the previous edition of the Men’s Under-19 World Cup.
