[Saba Sports News] According to reports from British
media, Chelsea have a contractual agreement with Manchester City that includes
a variable bonus payment if Cole Palmer represents England during the current
international break. As per the reports, the transfer agreement between the two
clubs includes a floating bonus of £2.5 million tied to various factors such as
Palmer’s appearances for the national team, goals scored, appearances made for
Chelsea, and potential championship achievements. Palmer, who joined Chelsea
from Manchester City this summer, has performed well for his new club, having
scored four goals so far this season. Due to injuries to James Maddison, Lewis
Dunk, and Callum Wilson, England manager Gareth Southgate decided to call up
three replacement players, and Palmer was one of them.
