[Saba Sports News] According to reports from
British media, the Manchester United fans’ organization is planning to resume
their protests against the club’s owner, Glazer, during Manchester United’s
upcoming game against Luton town in the Premier League. The fans are demanding
Glazer’s departure from the club as soon as possible. The protests were
temporarily halted as a sign of respect for Sir Bobby Charlton, but with some
time having passed, the fans believe it is necessary to restart their
demonstrations against the Glazer family. Since the Glazer family acquired
Manchester United for £790 million in 2005, the club has suffered significant
financial losses. Over the past 10 years, the Glazer family’s net investment in
the club has been -£155 million, and they have burdened Manchester United with
£550 million of debt.
