[Saba Sports News] British tycoon James Ratcliffe has
acquired a 25% share of Manchester United for a sum of £1.35 billion. Ratcliffe
has also pledged to inject £245 million of private funds into the club. The
transaction is expected to be finalised by the end of this month. Recently,
Ratcliffe has been in discussions with Toto Wolff, the team principal of the
Mercedes F1 team, regarding Manchester United. Wolff has expressed a keen
interest in the club and intends to join Ratcliffe in investing in Manchester United.
According to the latest Forbes billionaire list, Wolff’s net worth is estimated
to be £1.3 billion.
