(sabasports report) China’s Huang Juan won the women’s single canoe canoe slalom final with 107.71 points at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou on Oct 7. In the men’s solo kayak final, Quan Xin of China fired on all cylinders to defend his title with 89.24 points.

The canoe slalom event at the Hangzhou Asian Games, which took place from October 5 to 7, yielded four gold MEDALS, with the Chinese team winning three gold and one silver.

“I think this is my (performance) the most satisfied time, Hangzhou this place is like a treasure pot, I am very happy to get the gold medal.” Huang Juan, who won a gold medal in her first Asian Games, was very excited. It definitely opened up today and I felt like I was flying.” Quan Xin won the canoe slalom men’s single kayak gold medal at the last Asian Games in Jakarta and competed as the defending champion.
