[Saba Sports News] In the second round of the English
Women’s Super League, Manchester United Women’s Football Team played to a 2-2
draw against Arsenal Women’s Football Team at Leigh Sports Village stadium.
Following the match, a group of Manchester United fans staged a protest against
the Glazer family through sit-ins and displaying banners. The banners carried
messages such as “Glazer family Out,” and some fans emphasised the
need for financial investment in the Manchester United women’s football team.
Currently, no significant progress has been made regarding the Glazers’
potential sale of Manchester United. Previously, the Manchester United fan
organisation “1958” urged supporters of the Red Devils not to engage
in dialogue with the Glazer family in the short term, as it is deemed
ineffective. On the 10th of this month, a Manchester United fans forum is
scheduled to take place, where strong protests against the Glazers are
anticipated.
