[Saba Sports News] Renowned author and journalist Michael Lewis recently disclosed the staggering amounts paid to Tom Brady and Steph Curry for their endorsement deals with the now-bankrupt FTX cryptocurrency exchange, founded by Sam Bankman-Fried.
According to Lewis, Brady received $55 million for 20 hours of work per year for three years, while Curry was paid $35 million for a similar arrangement. This translates to nearly a million dollars per hour for Brady and half a million dollars per hour for Curry.
However, given FTX’s bankruptcy and the loss of funds for over a million users, it’s uncertain how much of these payments Brady and Curry actually received, potentially including a combination of cash and now-worthless equity.
Brady’s significant personal investment in FTX further compounds his association with the failed venture.
