[Saba Sports News] Star Indian batter Virat Kohli has urged his friends not to request tickets for the upcoming ODI World Cup starting on October 5. Kohli shared this request on his Instagram story, suggesting that they enjoy the matches from home if they can’t secure tickets. His wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, echoed the sentiment on her profile, adding not to seek her help if Kohli doesn’t respond.
Kohli, who temporarily left the Indian camp due to personal reasons, is set to rejoin the team on October 4. He missed the game against the Netherlands but will be back for India’s opening match against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.
Unfortunately, both of India’s practice matches were canceled due to rain, but the team remains confident following their recent 2-1 series win against Australia. After Australia, India will face Afghanistan on October 11 in Delhi and host Pakistan on October 14 in Ahmedabad.
