[Saba Sports News]MotoGP’s legendary nine-time champion, Valentino Rossi,
has recently been discovered by the media to be participating in the World
Endurance Championship (WEC) next year in 2024. His name appeared in the driver
lineup released by the WRT BMW team for the WEC. Rossi confirmed this in a
media interview, stating, “Participating in the World Endurance
Championship is the next stage of my career, and I am thrilled to join the
WEC.”
It is worth mentioning that the 2024 WEC event will also feature other
renowned motorsport figures from different disciplines. Mick Schumacher, the
son of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher, will participate representing the
Alpine team. Another notable participant is the experienced Polish driver and
former Formula 1 Renault team member, Robert Kubica, who will represent the
Ferrari AF Corse team.
In my opinion, Rossi is a born racer, and after retiring from MotoGP, he
has dedicated himself to four-wheel racing. His lifelong dedication to
motorsports serves as an inspiration for us all.
