race, legendary Italian rider Valentino Rossi visited the event and met with
the VR46 team. Media reports suggest that Rossi’s visit revolved around
discussions regarding the future transfer of the VR46 team to Yamaha, as Rossi
has reached an agreement with the manufacturer. It is stated that Rossi has
signed a two-year contract with Yamaha, commencing from 2025 to 2026. The
upcoming season will be the final one for the VR46 team’s collaboration with
DUCATI. Rossi is widely recognized in the world of MotoGP racing and is
considered one of the most accomplished riders in the history of the sport. He
holds the distinction of being the first driver to win the GP driver
championship with two different teams for two consecutive years. Rossi secured
the GP Drivers Championship in 2021 before announcing his retirement in
November of the same year, creating a significant buzz within the MotoGP
community.
