Sports News] Dortmund have announced that their partner, PUMA, will be
conducting a “used clothes recycling” campaign during Dortmund’s
upcoming match against Borussia Monchengladbach. This initiative aims to reduce
waste and establish a foundation for future circular production models. PUMA
plans to recycle jerseys brought in by fans at the stadium, using them as the
primary raw material for producing regenerated nylon. PUMA has previously
introduced recyclable and eco-friendly training gear and sports running shoes,
completely transitioning to jerseys made of recycled nylon. The editor believes
that this campaign should be promoted as it allows for the reuse of old and
discarded jerseys while contributing to environmental conservation. The
environmentally friendly materials used in these jerseys do not compromise
quality and retain PUMA’s unique dryCELL technology, ensuring a perfect fit for
the players and enhanced moisture-wicking properties.
