[Saba Sports News] Sachin Tendulkar, one of cricket’s all-time greats, extended his congratulations to India’s star batsman, Virat Kohli, as Kohli notched his 49th ODI century. This milestone tied Kohli with Tendulkar for the most centuries in the 50-over format. Kohli achieved this feat on his 35th birthday during India’s Cricket World Cup match against South Africa at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 5.
Tendulkar shared a photo of Kohli and expressed his heartfelt sentiments, encouraging the 35-year-old to reach the 50-century mark in the upcoming ODI matches.
“Well played Virat. It took me 365 days to go from 49 to 50 earlier this year. I hope you go from 49 to 50 and break my record in the next few days. Congratulations!!” wrote the Master Blaster on a social media platform.
