As a backup pacer, Anshul Kamboj is expected to travel to England with the Indian team. Due to injuries to Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep, the Haryana right-arm seamer has been called up.
The hero of India’s historic Test victory at Edgbaston, Akash, is reportedly recovering from an injury that may prevent him from playing in the fourth Test in Manchester. After bowling the 30th over of the England innings, the fast bowler, who had dismissed Harry Brook in the second innings at Lord’s, was spotted holding his hip and moving carefully. Then, as Shubman Gill looked to Mohammed Siraj to bowl with Jasprit Bumrah, he walked off the pitch.
