
Nepal and Oman seal their spots for the 2026 T20 World Cup as UAE are well-placed to join them in next year’s world tournament.
Even before their Super Six match in the Asia-EAP Qualifier in Al Amerat, Nepal and Oman have already secured their spots in the 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. They will be joined by another team from the competition in the T20 World Cup the following year.
After the UAE crushed Samoa by 77 runs earlier in the day, Nepal and Oman were guaranteed seats in the T20 World Cup. With four points, the UAE is presently ranked third in the Super Six standings. The only thing standing between Oman and Nepal is their respective net run rates.
