It is believed that Raheem Sterling was in the home with his family when he was the victim of another break-in.
According to reports, masked guys attempted to break into the Chelsea player’s home last Saturday. The former England international’s house has been targeted twice, but Sterling and his family managed to escape unscathed.
A spokesperson for Sterling said: “We can confirm that Raheem Sterling was the victim of a home break-in this weekend. We can also confirm that he and his children were present at home at the time. Whilst the ultimate violation of privacy and safety, we are thankful to be able to confirm that he and his loved ones are all safe. We ask that the privacy of Raheem and his loved ones be respected at this challenging time.”
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers are conducting a thorough investigation and ask anyone with information, or if they saw anyone in the area acting suspiciously, to contact police.”.
Sterling resides with Paige Milian, his long-time companion, and their kids. A break-in at his house forced the former Manchester City winger to leave England’s headquarters in Qatar during the 2022 World Cup. In order to provide for his family, Sterling took a plane back to the UK, but he returned to Qatar just in time to watch England lose to France in the quarterfinals.
The 30-year-old has not appeared in any of Chelsea’s first-team lineups this season despite having almost two years remaining on a deal paying more than £300,000 per week. He left City to join the London team in 2022, but he hasn’t lived up to expectations. Sterling has no future at Chelsea after struggling while on loan at Arsenal last season.
