[Saba Sports News] According to a report from The Sun,
Newcastle United’s player Miguel Almiron is set to receive a six-month driving
ban. The reason behind this is that Almiron was caught using a mobile phone
while driving. Despite being asked by the police to provide the necessary
information, Almiron failed to respond. Subsequently, after gathering
sufficient evidence, the court identified Almiron as the driver and decided to
press charges against him. It’s worth noting that Almiron had previously faced
consequences for not providing driving identity information. In light of the cumulative
penalty principle, the judge issued a six-month driving ban and imposed a fine
of £660. Almiron did not offer any defence in response to the evidence
presented.
