Amine Adli joins Bournemouth on a £25m deal making him the Cherries’ seventh acquisition of the summer window.
For a potential £25.1 million, Bournemouth acquired winger Amine Adli from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 25-year-old, who signed a five-year contract, is the Cherries’ seventh summer acquisition.
Although he has played as a number 10 and on the right side, the Morocco international typically plays off the left.
Under former manager Xabi Alonso, Adli played 143 games for Leverkusen, contributing 10 goals and 12 assists in 42 games during 2023–24 as they won the German Cup and Bundesliga.
American businessman Bill Foley acquired Bournemouth just before the January 2023 transfer window, and since then, the club has spent close to £350 million on acquisitions.
In addition, the Cherries have been selling players. This summer, defenders Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen, and Illia Zabarnyi all left for a total of £150 million to join Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Paris St-Germain, respectively.
The Blues would love to sell Chelsea defender Axel Disasi permanently, but Bournemouth is nearing the end of their transfer window and is aiming for a possible loan deal.
