[Saba Sports News] Lucas Broder, an official from the
International Football Association Board (IFAB), stated in an interview this
week that it will take approximately 10 years to perfect VAR technology. In
response to Broder’s comments, Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta expressed his
thoughts during a pre-match interview with Burnley. Arteta jokingly remarked,
“In 10 years, I might be bald by then. Life is unpredictable, and perhaps
the football world will be bald too. There will likely be many more new
regulations! I don’t know what’s coming next, so I will do my best to enhance
the quality of the game in all aspects.” When asked about his previous
criticism of referees, Arteta stated, “I am very straightforward. I always
express my opinions, and I will take action to defend my beliefs. Different people
will have different opinions about my remarks. I hope not to get into trouble
so we can move forward.”
