Asia has been confirmed as Manchester United’s next pre-season destination. The club is set to travel to Malaysia and Hong Kong and will play a couple of pre-season games there.
On May 28, the Red Devils will play the ASEAN All Stars in Kuala Lumpur. Two days later, they will go to Hong Kong to play.
Following their season-ending league match against Aston Villa at home on May 25, United will take a plane to Asia.
It is estimated that the trip will bring in roughly $10 million (£7.8 million).
The next week, United’s international players would rejoin their respective national teams.
Between July 26 and August 3, Ruben Amorim’s team will also visit the United States as part of the Premier League’s preseason competition.
Malaysia Airlines is United’s official commercial airline partner, and the team has a sizable following in Malaysia. They visited Hong Kong in 2013 and played there for the last time in 2009.
