[Saba Sports News] During a Nevada-Sacramento State college basketball game at Lawlor Events Center in Reno, bats interrupted play. Sacramento State was trailing 63-56 with 5:40 left in the game when the bats appeared, causing a delay.
The situation was eventually brought under control, and play resumed with Nevada winning 77-63. This wasn’t the first time Lawlor Events Center experienced bat-related issues, as a similar incident occurred in 2017, revealing a bat colony in the venue.
Additionally, there was an animal-related incident in a college football game last week involving an angry opossum.
