Chelsea slapped with 74 charges by The FA related to FA agent regulations under Roman Abramovich era from 2009-22.
Chelsea expect heavy fine after being hit with 74 charges related to FA agent regulations.
The Football Association accused Chelsea on Thursday of 74 violations of its regulations pertaining to the use of football agents, and Chelsea anticipates facing a significant financial penalty for transfer misdemeanours.
Following an examination into transfer activity under Roman Abramovich’s ownership, the club is now facing a hefty charge sheet. Among other things, they are said to have made secret payments in order to facilitate transfers. Deals for Eden Hazard, Willian, and Samuel Eto’o are among those being highlighted.
The allegations, which pertain to alleged violations of six rules in effect from 2009 to 2022, were announced by the FA in a statement on Thursday. An impartial regulatory commission will hear the case. Among the regulations mentioned are those that prohibit clubs from utilising unregistered intermediaries and making undeclared payments. Chelsea is also accused of violating rules that forbid teams from entering into agreements that provide outside parties the ability to “materially influence the club’s policies.”
