[Saba Sports News] The MotoGP Valencia Grand Prix has concluded
successfully. However, after the race, Aprilia factory team driver Aleix
Espargaro expressed his dissatisfaction with the event in an interview with the
media. Espargaro believes that the decision to delay the start of Valencia
Grand Prix was a “big mistake.” He pointed out that as the start was
delayed, the weather humidity increased, which posed higher demands on the
tires. This resulted in many riders experiencing falls during the race, which
he considered to be a significant problem. Espargaro is not alone in his
opinion, as even the winner of the race, Bagnaia, mentioned being scared by the
delayed start. He expressed concerns about the track conditions and feeling a cold
sensation in the car during the last five laps. He also expressed fear of
potential issues with the front tires, making the race particularly
challenging. The editor’s perspective is that MotoGP racing inherently involves
numerous uncertainties, and climate conditions are undoubtedly a top priority.
Racing tires must be well-suited to the individual car, as well as the venue
and weather factors. The driver’s skills play a role, but so do the conditions
of the track and climate.
