[Saba Sports News] Sevilla recently issued a statement
expressing their protest against Barcelona, accusing them of attempting to
bribe referee Negredo. As a result, Sevilla refused to send representatives to Barcelona’s
home stadium to observe their La Liga match. This incident has caused a
significant breakdown in relations between the two clubs and has generated
intense discussions in the media and public. Former Sevilla chairman Del Nido,
in a recent interview with the media, expressed a different viewpoint from the
current Sevilla officials. He openly criticised the club’s statement, referring
to it as an act of incitement. Del Nido firmly believes that unless there is a
conclusive judgment that presumes guilt, Barcelona should be considered
innocent in this matter.
