[Saba Sports News] In the just-concluded UEFA
Champions League group stage, French Ligue 1 team Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)
drew 1-1 at home against English Premier League team Newcastle United. Many
local TV stations in France were following this match closely, and French
pundit Daniel Riolo was also in the studio providing live commentary. After the
game, he expressed strong dissatisfaction with Paris Saint-Germain,
particularly with young player Bradley Barcola. Daniel said, “Barcola? We
are participating in the Champions League, not a youth league. He is like a
little lamb, unable to escape the confines of the farm.” I really don’t
understand why Luis Enrique would use such an inexperienced young player in such
a major competition. I actually quite agree with him. I watched the match, and
Barcola indeed wasted too many chances. If it wasn’t for Kylian Mbappé’s
last-minute equalizer, Paris Saint-Germain might not even have earned a single
point. What’s more crucial is that PSG has not secured their qualification yet.
The suspense will be resolved in the final matchday. In the last round, Paris
Saint-Germain will face Borussia Dortmund away. They must win to ensure their
progress. A draw or a loss would put them at risk of elimination.
