[Saba Sports News] The F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
concluded successfully, and the FIA end-of-season awards ceremony is also set
to take place as scheduled in December. The top three F1 drivers, Max
Verstappen, Sergio Perez, and Lewis Hamilton, will attend this annual
extravaganza. Recently, Hamilton discussed the topic of F1 Mercedes team
shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the British billionaire, potentially acquiring
Manchester United during a media interview. Hamilton stated that Ratcliffe, the
team owner, has not approached him to discuss this topic. Although Hamilton is
a fan of Arsenal in the English Premier League, he mentioned that he would
consider agreeing if Sir Jim Ratcliffe approached him to invest in Manchester
United. Hamilton has not only excelled in the world of F1 racing but also made
several investments in other fields. He is also a shareholder of the Denver
Broncos in the National Football League (NFL). Sir Jim Ratcliffe, as the
richest person in the UK, has a keen interest in sports investments. He has
already invested in clubs like Nice and Lausanne Sport, as well as Formula One,
and the news of his acquisition of a 25% stake in Manchester United is expected
to be announced in the near future.
