[Saba Sports News] Pakistan bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan has named his favourite players from Team India, whom he admires the most.
Leg-spinner Shadab, who is currently dealing with poor form, has been appointed as the vice-captain of the Babar Azam-led Pakistan Team for the World Cup 2023. After facing crushing defeats against India and Sri Lanka in the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan regrouped in India and are looking forward to the upcoming quadrennial tournament.
Shadab chose batter Rohit Sharma and wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav as his favourite Indian players.
“As a batter, I really like Rohit Sharma. He’s very difficult and dangerous to bowl to once he’s set. Among the bowlers, I like Kuldeep because I’m also a leg-spinner. It’s very difficult to bowl on flat tracks in these conditions,” Shadab Khan was quoted by Cricbuzz.
The 24-year-old will have to face these Indian cricketers, come 14th October as Pakistan and India are scheduled to collide then at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Pakistan will play their first two World Cup games in Hyderabad against Netherlands and Sri Lanka on 6th and 10th October before the mega clash versus India.
