Indian football rocked by latest round of scandals with regards to Fake Aadhar Cards in women’s football ch’ship.
Indian football continues to find itself in shambles. According to recent reports, a startling case of fraud was discovered in Uttar Pradesh during the National Women’s Football Championship selection process.
Using fictitious Aadhaar cards, ten players from Haryana were selected for the Uttar Pradesh team for the October 10–14 Nationals, according to reports from Moradabad Jagran and Amar Ujala Moradabad.
To make matters worse, it was also rumoured that one guy was chosen for the group without ever participating in the 15-day training camp, and some of the players that were chosen couldn’t even kick a football correctly, according to witnesses.
Several seasoned veterans who were denied the opportunity to participate properly have publicly criticised the authorities for engaging in flagrant fraud and corruption.
The selection committee was accused by individuals who felt deceived by the system of showing partiality and assisting the players from Haryana in getting opportunities that they were legally entitled to.
Regional Sports Officer Naresh Chandra Yadav responded to questions about the situation by saying that the department had no influence or say in the selection process and had simply been involved in providing the required facilities.
However, Mohammed Nasir Kamal, the general secretary of District Football, refuted all of the allegations, asserting that the players from other states had the required NOCs (No Objection Certificates) to represent Uttar Pradesh.
