The forward line of Rasmus Hojlund, Joshua Zirkzeee, and Alejandro Garnacho have not scored enough goals this season. Their profligacy means that the Red Devils find themselves 13th in the table with just 7 games to play.
Delap has been a shining light for the Tractor Boys in the Premier League this season. The 22-year-old, having signed from Manchester City this summer has been in among the goals. In what is his first season as a Premier League striker, he has an admirable tally of 12 goals in 30 league appearances.

Apart from Liam Delap, Manchester United are simultaneously looking at other potential options to bolster their stuttering forward line. Wolves’ Matheus Cunha, Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres, and Victor Osimhen of Napoli (on loan at Galatasaray) are a few names that have consequently been floated.
