[Saba Sports News] Manchester United have signed a
10-year jersey contract with Adidas, valued at £750 million. Recently, the
“Daily Mail” reported that the contract includes a penalty clause:
starting from 2025, if Manchester United fails to qualify for the Champions
League, Adidas’ sponsorship fee for the club will be reduced by £10 million.
Additionally, the contract includes bonus clauses: if Manchester United’s men’s
or women’s team manages to win domestic or European championships, the annual
bonus could reach up to £4.4 million. Data indicates that Manchester United
have failed to qualify for the Champions League on three occasions since 2015.
