[Saba Sports News] During the Dallas Mavericks’ pregame show on Friday, analyst Brian Dameris delivered a pointed critique aimed at Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden. The Clippers were set to face the Mavericks at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Before the game began, Dameris took the opportunity to address Harden directly. He spent two minutes criticizing the former MVP, accusing Harden of being “the problem” despite having received much of what he wanted throughout his career. Dameris reviewed Harden’s career achievements and then bluntly stated, “Hey James, you’re the problem. If this doesn’t work this year, in this system, with [the Clippers], then you’re going to go and point fingers at everybody else. … There’s not going to be anybody left. Because James, you’re not the beard, you’re not the system — you’re the problem.”
Dameris’ fellow pregame show host, Dana Larson, and analyst Devin Harris were visibly surprised as they witnessed the scathing commentary. Dameris concluded his message with a dramatic mic drop.
The Mavericks later won the game 144-126 against the Clippers, with Harden scoring 14 points and grabbing 5 rebounds in the loss.
