[Saba Sports News] Following the recent announcement by Razlan Razali, the
former team principal of the RNF MotoGP team, stating his departure due to poor
financial decision-making within the team, the news has shocked the public.
Although subsequent disclosures from CryptoDATA indicated that the team did not
incur significant debts, the impact of the initial news had already taken hold.
This week, the MotoGP Selection Committee, composed of members from FIM, IRTA,
and Dorna Sports, held discussions and made a major announcement. They declared
that the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP team will not be selected to participate in the
2024 season, citing “repeated violations and breaches of the participation
agreement that have affected the public image of MotoGP.” The RNF team was
established at the end of 2021 by former SRT team boss Razlan Razali. However,
since its inception, the team has consistently performed poorly. In the
previous season, they finished second to last, ranking 11th out of 12 teams. In
the current season, they are currently ranked 8th out of 11 teams. Furthermore,
the team has been plagued by scandalous controversies, which are deemed
unacceptable in the MotoGP community.
