Postecoglu: “Happy, but I also understand that I am only the one leading at the moment and after a challenging pre-season we have had a promising start to the season, which is a credit to everyone. It is a great honour to be nominated by FIFA and I am delighted that it is a great recognition for the staff, players and everyone I have worked with at Celtic including the club. Celtic is a great club and sometimes its achievements are devalued because of the league, but we won the treble last season, which is never easy, and it’s nice that the club is getting the recognition it deserves.”

“‘ If ‘is a beautiful word, does it mean it’s a disaster if you don’t win? We had a promising start, but I said I didn’t have any expectations of what we needed to achieve. Whether to incorporate a style of play into the team is the key for me and I am working hard to implement that. We have 10 points but if we don’t play the football we want, I won’t be comfortable sitting here tomorrow, we have a long way to go.”
