Rosicky hopes to make full recovery after heart issue for former Arsenal man sees him be rushed to the hospital.
After being hospitalised to intensive care last week due to a heart-related problem, former Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky hopes in fully recovering.
According to the club, Rosicky, who has been the sporting director of Sparta Prague in his home Czech Republic since December 2018, was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday.
An external club statement stated that surgery was not necessary and that Rosicky was discharged to home care last week, but it did not provide specifics regarding the cardiac problem.
“This situation has shown me that I need to take better care of myself. Poor lifestyle habits, lack of physical activity, and family predispositions unfortunately brought me here,” the 44-year-old said.

Rosicky played 246 games for Arsenal from 2006 to 2016 and helped the Gunners win the FA Cup in 2013–14 and 2014–15. He also assisted the Czech Republic in making it to the Euro 2004 semi-finals.
He rejoined Sparta Prague, his first club, in 2016, and a year later he retired from playing.
Rosicky will continue to serve as a consultant even though Tomas Sivok, the Sparta sporting manager, has been named interim sporting director.
