Injured Sesko to miss Slovenia games but United hopeful of swift return.
Due to a knee injury he sustained at Tottenham on Saturday, Benjamin Sesko will miss Slovenia’s matches against Kosovo and Sweden. However, Manchester United is optimistic that he might be available following the international break.
After being substituted by Noussair Mazraoui on minute 58 of the 2-2 draw with Spurs, the striker was pulled off after 87 minutes. Sesko withdrew from the Slovenian squad, and Ruben Amorim expressed worry following the match.
The initial prediction is that he might recover in time to play Everton on November 24. However, United will perform additional testing at Carrington this week.
Harry Maguire and Casemiro were also dismissed from Spurs. Although the latter’s condition is still unknown, it is believed that Casemiro is healthy and has reported for duty with Brazil.
Lisandro Martínez, who hasn’t played since suffering a knee injury in February, will attend Argentina’s European training camp; but, the defender won’t participate in Friday’s friendly match in Luanda against Angola. José, who just rejoined the team, will be assisted by a member of United’s performance team.
