Star Sports, broadcasting the series, has launched an engaging campaign film for India’s South African tour, beginning on December 10, 2023. The tour features three T20Is, three ODIs, and two Test matches, wrapping up on January 7, 2023.
In the promotional video by Star Sports, KL Rahul, India’s acclaimed batsman, suggests that although the South African team poses a strong challenge, winning in their territory would be rewarding. The campaign’s tagline, ‘Mushkil Hai. Mazza Aaega,’ aptly captures the essence and daunting nature of the upcoming series.
In response to the promo featuring KL Rahul, South African players Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Keshav Maharaj, and Tabraiz Shamsi have playfully interacted on social media, adding to the pre-series excitement.
Rassie van der Dussen warmly invited the Indian team, commenting, “Extending a warm welcome to the boys in blue to come face the heat in our backyard!” Meanwhile, Aiden Markram shared his excitement on Instagram, “We are looking forward to this series – it’s going to be a good one.”
