[Saba Sports News] India bowled out Sri Lanka for the 10th lowest ODI total of mere runs 50 in 15.2 overs, with Mohammed Siraj taking six wickets in his seven overs and giving away just 21 runs.
Siraj took five wickets in just his third, becoming the joint-fastest (16 balls) to bag a five-for. Moreover, Hardik Pandya also took three wickets in 2.2 overs, giving away just three runs.
Getting all-out for just 50, Sri Lanka recorded the 10th-worst score in the ODI cricket history.
Zimbabwe holds the record for getting bowled out at the lowest score of 35 in 18 overs back in 2004 against Sri Lanka in Harare. USA and Canada are second and third on the list with scores of 35 in 12 overs and 36 in 18.4 overs against Nepal and Sri Lanka, respectively.
At number four and five, there are Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka, who scored 38 in 15.4 and 43 in 20.1 against Sri Lanka and South Africa, respectively. The list is followed by Pakistan at No.6, Zimbabwe at No.7, Canada at No.8, and Namibia at No.9, who scored 43, 44, 45, and 45 runs against West Indies, Bangladesh, England, and Australia, respectively.
Sri Lanka could gather 50 runs in the Asia Cup 2023 final against India in Colombo. Rohit Sharma and Co. achieved the target in 6.1 overs, winning the match by 10 wickets.
