India and Pakistan to face each other for round two on September 21.
The Asia Cup 2025 Super Four stage will start on Saturday with a matchup between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. In the penultimate group-stage match in Abu Dhabi, Sri Lanka eliminated Afghanistan from the tournament, guaranteeing that they and Bangladesh from Group B advanced to the next round undefeated.
Following Pakistan’s victory over the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, India and Pakistan had reaffirmed their places in Group A. This indicates that the tournament’s second India vs. Pakistan match will take place in Dubai on September 21. India remains unbeaten going into their match against Oman, which will end the first round, after defeating Pakistan in their group-stage match in Dubai.
Before facing Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi, Pakistan will have a day off. However, Bangladesh will play on consecutive days when they play Pakistan the following day and India on September 24. Dubai is the venue for both games.
On September 26 in Dubai, India and Sri Lanka will wrap off the Super Four stage. On September 28, again in Dubai, the two teams at the top of the table will square off in the championship match. No group stage points will be carried over to the Super Four round by the teams.
