[Saba Sports News] The Daily Mail recently calculated
the winning percentages of Manchester United’s six head coaches since Sir Alex
Ferguson’s retirement. Interestingly, Erik ten Hag, who has faced criticism due
to the team’s poor results this season, surprisingly holds the highest winning
percentage among these six coaches, standing at 62.82%. Meanwhile, David Moyes
achieved a winning rate of 52.94%, Louis van Gaal had a winning rate of 52.43%,
Jose Mourinho recorded a winning rate of 58.33%, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
maintained a winning rate of 54.17%, and Ralf Rangnick’s winning rate currently
stands at 37.93%. Some fans have expressed dissatisfaction with these findings,
emphasising that Ten Hag’s coaching tenure at Manchester United has been
relatively short, making it somewhat imprecise to solely consider the winning
rate without considering the number of games played.
