Tickets sales begin for 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
With less than a month till the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup begins on September 30 in Guwahati, tickets have gone on sale.
The ICC declared on Thursday that tickets for all of the group matches in India and Sri Lanka would go on sale through the Google Pay platform for four days starting at 1900 IST and SLST on September 4 on tickets.cricketworldcup.com. On September 9 at 2000 IST and SLST (1430 GMT), tickets.cricketworldcup.com will go on sale for the second phase.
In the initial pre-sale round, tickets will start at INR 100 (about $1.14 USD), which the ICC claims is “the most affordable pricing for any ICC global event in history.”
Eight teams—India, Sri Lanka, England, Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, and Bangladesh—will compete in the Women’s ODI World Cup at five different locations: Colombo, Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam, and Navi Mumbai. The tournament will begin on September 30 in Guwahati with India against Sri Lanka, and the final will take place on November 2 at a location to be determined.
The tournament’s overall prize money, according to the ICC, is USD $13.88 million, which is almost four times more than the USD 3.5 million awarded at the previous women’s ODI World Cup in New Zealand in 2022.
