West Indies’ home season to begin with three-Test series against Australia.
The centrepiece of the 2025 West Indies men’s Test schedule will be a two-Test tour to India and a three-match home Test series against Australia. They will play Australia in a Test series for the Frank Worrell Trophy from June 25 to July 16 to kick off the 2025–27 World Test Championship cycle. In addition, this will be the first Test match for the West Indies under Daren Sammy, who will succeed red-ball coach Andre Coley.
The first Test will be held at Barbados’ Kensington Oval, while the second will be held at Grenada National Stadium. Five Twenty20 Internationals will be place after the series concludes at Sabina Park in Jamaica. From July 31 to August 12, the West Indies will play three Twenty20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals against Pakistan to wrap up their domestic summer.
After that, they will spend September 21–23 in Bangladesh, India, and New Zealand. Three ODIs and three T20Is are scheduled to be played in Bangladesh. Three Test matches, three ODIs, and five Twenty20 Internationals will make up the all-format New Zealand visit.
Prior to all of that, West Indies will play three ODIs in Ireland and three in England to get ready for the 2027 ODI World Cup after missing out on qualifying for the 2023 tournament. They will also play three Twenty20 Internationals each against both teams while they are there.
The West Indies women’s 2025 campaign will start with the World Cup qualifiers in Pakistan from April 4–19, where six teams will vie for two berths in the main event in India, which is set for August–September, according to the CWI statement.
From May 21 to June 8, the ladies of the West Indies will visit England for three Twenty20 Internationals and as many One-Day Internationals. Following that, they will play three ODIs and three T20Is against South Africa women at the 3Ws Oval in Barbados.
The West Indies will play England at Headingly on May 29, Cariff on June 1, and The Oval on June 3. Malahide will host all three ODIs in Ireland from May 21 to May 25. Before going back to Ireland for three more Twenty20 Internationals in Belfast, the West Indies will also play three Twenty20 Internationals in England. On June 15, they will play Ireland in the third Twenty20 International to wrap up their UK tour. They will have ten days off before facing Australia in Barbados to begin the Test series.
